I attended Lincoln County Hospital for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy in March 2026.
I got there early morning and was seen promptly by a lovely nurse and then a kind surgeon and anaesthetist who thoroughly went through the procedure and what would happen.
Taken down to the theatre at two hours later for surgery.
There was a lovely (nurse/ ODP) who took me into the operating room and she really was brilliant - so reassuring and kind and made a huge difference to my experience, felt very looked after (thankyou!).
I was also well looked after by a kind nurse in theatre recovery who made sure I was pain free and then transferred back to SAL - the care on there was fine.
Discharged by early evening the same day gallbladder free after a year and a half of issues - couldn’t be happier!
"Couldn't be happier"
