I had breast surgery recently in University Hospital Wishaw. It all went very smoothly. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and encouraging. I was talked through all the procedures by the practitioners so I knew exactly what would happen.
Post surgery attention was good and again I was talked through all that would happen in the follow-up and given a date for pathology results.
I was given various dressings, medications, etc before being allowed home. I had a follow -up call today from one of the nurses to see how everything went and how I was feeling and to see if I had any questions and to reassure me that I could call any time if I subsequently has any concerns.
An excellent service all round. I couldn’t fault it and I think they all do a wonderful job.
