"There were some wonderful nurses, and some terrible staff"

I was depressed, and made multiple attempts on my life by overdose.

I subsequently spent over a year on Cherry Ward, Highbury.

There were some wonderful nurses, some terrible aggressive bank staff, and some psychiatrists who I was not happy with.

Had I not switched to a particular staff member's care, I believe I would have not recovered.

There were a couple of psychiatrists who wanted to perform ECT on me, which I believe would have destroyed my life completely. I obviously objected and fortunately a second opinion agreed.

I also felt that one of the psychiatrists who was treating me actually enjoyed telling me how useless I was. I felt they didn't care about their patient's welfare.

I am now fully recovered, never been happier, living life to the full.
