"Excellent service"

About: Crediton Community Hospital / Therapies Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Medical Imaging Tiverton Hospital

(as the patient),

What do people expect of the NHS? I rang my dr to say I thought I had broken bones in my foot. He said you will need an X-ray. Go to Tiverton hospital as shortest waiting time. Seen within the 18 minutes they posted. Triaged, X-ray and boot fitted within the hour. 1week later back to Exeter hospital. Another X-ray. Borderline needing an op. Decided to stick with the boot. 5 weeks later another X-ray. Making good progress. Followed immediately by first physio session. 1 week later at Crediton Hospital 2nd physio session. I did all the exercises in the privacy of my own home in between sessions and today signed off at my final session. 3 weeks later. I have never ever received any service from the NHS that warranted a complaint. This is typical of the excellent service the NHS provides as far as I am concerned.

Dear giraffe98,

I'm so glad to hear you have had a seamless NHS experience after unfortunately injuring your foot. I'm glad the physio support you received after the injury met your expectations. I shall feedback to the Crediton physiotherapy team. I wish you all the best and a speedy onward recovery.
