My grandmother is in her 90s, she had a fall at home and suspected stroke. Quick response time from the ambulance service from first phone call to first responder to ambulance arriving to transport to A&E.
Triaged promptly at A&E and I was aware that A&E was very busy, with discussion of ambulances being diverted elsewhere.
From the call to 999 until she was transferred to the stroke ward within a few hours. The doctors and nurses acted very promptly once gran had arrived and kept me up to date with the care plan.
Transferred to ward 4D and the nurses on ward 4D were very attentive and had great patience. Nurse Jack was a great hit with our Grandmother.
