"My friend's treatment"

About: Cloughreagh House

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My  friend was in Cloughreagh House for 2 weeks and I want to thank Cloughreagh for their care and attention.

Having visited Cloughreagh House every day for 2 weeks, I realise just how blessed we are to have such a welcoming, caring facility on our doorsteps.  I was greeted with a smile and a welcome each day at the door and while I was apologising for having to call the carers to let me in, they always had time for a greeting and a few words.

My friend was treated with genuine respect, kindness and friendship. She was always dressed with care and her bed and bedroom were spotless. She was calm and relaxed.  The position of the room enabled her to watch Spring unfold.

I too felt calm and happy leaving Cloughreagh House knowing my friend was being cared for with gentleness and professionalism.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to the Manager and staff, may you always find gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful work you do.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing such lovely feedback about the team in Cloughreagh House, we are all delighted that you and your friend had such a good experience. I do feel privileged to have such a committed team who are caring, compassionate and who truly want the best outcome for each Service User who accesses our service..

Health care is truly a vocation and this is recognised by the Southern Trust, they are committed to their staff and value their contribution to the service, they provide training opportunities for staff to enhance their performance and their professional development.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for taking the time to share your story on Care Opinion and to wish you and your friend continued good health.

Kind Regards

Kate Mc Beth
