My Fiancé has a history of manic episodes and is diagnosed with bi polar disorder. At about the middle of May 2026 she started to become unwell again after struggling to sleep for several nights in a row. I then suddenly became her de facto carer, and unfortunately struggled to get her assessed (and therefore sectioned under the mental health act) with various organisations but Michelle and her team at the Wyre Forest home treatment team (Robertson centre, Kidderminster) were absolutely fantastic and organised a mental health assessment for my fiancé the same day which meant that she could go into hospital and receive the care and treatment she needed. I’m very grateful to Michelle and her team who are an absolute credit to the wonderful and amazing institution that is the NHS.
"Absolutely fantastic team"
