I recently attended the surgical immediate assessment unit (I think that is the correct name) at the QEUH, Glasgow with my relative - who is in his 90s - to be seen by Urology team.
Unfortunately had an 8-hrs stay due to Urology team being extremely busy - which we understand. However, one member of staff Kate, Surgical ANP was great. Kept us informed, showed compassion to our relative, got a pillow when he was on a trolley for over 3 hours and checked in on us.
