In the year 2024 my aunty sadly passed away from breast cancer leaving 2 of my cousins without their mother. The eldest suffers with her mental health and she's already been sectioned twice. The youngest doesn't really talk much and when he does talk it's only a mumble here or a mumble there. As a family we called a meeting to discuss this and we agreed to having the youngest assessed by the Early Intervention Team. As a result he was diagnosed with Pyschosis, which we were not prepared for. As a family we are going to make sure that both my cousins are going to get the help they need, we know it's going to be a long journey but we promised my aunty that we would look after her babies π
The team has been good and we are feeling hopeful.
