"Getting Out Again"

About: Community Services (AMH) / Adult Occupational Therapy team

(as the patient),

Saffron was so kind, caring, supportive and knew exactly what I needed to move forward. She also brought equipment making my life easier around the house.

She was very encouraging getting out of the house and building up my strength in my legs.We also worked on my confidence to get out again eventually on my own.

As the weeks went on I was walking on my own a small distance with Saffron ahead. I've gone from looking down to floor and rushing to looking forward and have a normal pace with the distance increasing. We always reflected afterwards and talked about my issues
