"Journey back to health and walking"

I came to hospital May 2026 very ill and being so ill and weak I ended up bed bound unable to walk. I had previous falls and dizzy spells when I tried to stand or walk. Ben came everyday to my ward to help me walk sit etc. Ben encouraged me everyday when I believed Id never walk again. He chatted to me, supported me and told me I could walk again. He made me feel so much better and his encouragement, guidance support made me push everyday to try my hardest to listen to his advice and work with him and within weeks of his help I got stronger and was able to walk. This month I left hospital able to walk with confidence without his help I wouldn't be where I am today. He is amazing and has such a positive manner, great at his job and an asset to the Belfast Trust
