"Staff are brilliant"

About: Croydon University Hospital Croydon University Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

Staff are brilliant – they are on hand all the time and available - Drs explain everything explain everything about care and treatment. Could do with a telly, phones are expensive. Used to have tellies by the bedside. Gets a bit boring. Food is alright.

> doesn’t like the plastic cups

> They [something] the family informed and feedback on medication etc: nurse phoned me almost form family granddaughter discharge plans

> Sometimes she doesn’t listen, so the hospital

>They've stopped visiting in the morning which is better for some people

> Occupational therapist Contacted me about the discharge all the team are letting you know and know about the plan.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We will share your positive feedback with the teams. The hospedia patient bedside entertainment system we had was removed from the Trust due to the fact that the system was out-dated. The Trust is looking at alternatives so that we can provide consistent and more improved access to entertainment for our patients. From a health and safety perspective the plastic cups are more suited for the confused patients. These cups are also lighter for the frail patients to manage and maintain their independence.
