"waiting 2 hours to be seen in children's A&E"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

I am not at all happy my nephew who is 6 years old has injured his eye and is waiting in A & E now and has just been told he has got to wait 2 hours at least to be seen. I think this is disgusting service and an injury to an eye needs immediate attention not 2 hours or even more later. It would be all well and good if his sight is affected through the long wait. If you cant cope with the amount of people waiting to be seen 'get more staff on duty' its not rocket science.

as far as I can see nothing has changed at East Surrey Hospital, its all very well Mr Wilson in the local paper every week saying they have made major improvements I love to know where they are, do you think you will ever improve things in A & E?
