For the past 3+ years my mother has been having 6 monthly appointments at Tolworth hospital for her dementia. She has been under the care initially of Dr Davidson and for the past 1. 5 years nurse Neil Clemenson.
During every visit both my mother and I have felt that it was a very positive and reassuring experience. My mother was treated with the utmost respect and decency and it was so helpful to have such a caring professional to put our questions and concerns to.
She has now been discharged and will be reviewed yearly by her gp. Both of us feel disappointed that we will not have that regular contact with a specialist in the field, particularly when they were so understanding and helpful.
