"Booking at Imaging Reception"

My consultant needed to book me in for a CT scan and suggested that, if I wanted a particular date, I could talk to the Imaging Reception and ask. I was very surprised at how time and trouble the receptionist, whose name I think was Kamal, took to help me. He took down the date I wanted, asked me to wait for 5-10 minutes while he went back to talk to the booking people. He came back and said he would personally request that particular date and time and phone me when it was booked or give me a new time as relevant. He phoned me 10 minutes later to say he had secured the time I wanted. Without criticising any other times I have booked appointments (which have all been handled well and politely) this really stood out.
