"Treated my father with dignity"

About: Royal Edinburgh Hospital

(as a relative),

My father was admitted to the Royal Edinburgh Hospital ward14 with Alzheimers's, the staff are all very caring and have treated my father with dignity,

Trying their very best to attend to all his needs. I attend regular meetings to inform me of my fathers progress and have found that very helpful.

The staff are very efficient when dealing with an alarm condition, I have seen them on a couple of occasions race to the source of the problem, they also maintain a reasonably secure environment to facilitate patient safety.

Dear syclastic

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your father's care in ward 14 of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

I was pleased to read that you have been able to attend regular meetings to discuss your father's care and hope that you been able to ask the questions and feel involved in his care.

I have shared your feedback with the senior team at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and have asked them to forward on to the team in ward 14, who I am sure will be really pleased to hear your feedback. Thank you again.

Kind regards

Jeannette
