"Amazing care by amazing staff"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

My dad was admitted to wandle 2 ward after a fall last week and has now been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. The care he has received by every member of the staff is exceptional. The majority of patients in the ward have dementia and I have only seen them treated with dignity and compassion by all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. There is always a nurse ready to answer your questions and give you time and that is with every patient and some times they are run off their feet but still treat the patients and their colleagues with professionalism. I would definitely recommend this hospital from the emergency a&e department to the ward.

I cannot thank everyone enough for giving my dad the care he needs.

We strive to provide a high standard of care to all our patients and to get feedback that you describe as exceptional is great to hear.

Thank you for taking the time to express your appreciation to the staff involved in your dads care on Wandle 2 and also your positive journey from A&E.

Sorry to hear about your dads diagnosis and we wish him well for the future

Kind Regards

Sarah Pritchard, Patient Experience Manager
