Lady rang to give feedback on a recent experience. Her husband who has dementia was taken ill in March 2019. She rang 111 who sent a GP to visit him at home. The GP sent him by emergency ambulance to Tameside Hospital. He was seen in A&E and admitted to AMU bay 6 for 3 days before being discharged. She said that all went very well. She said that her husband was well cared for and that she felt supported. She praised everyone that she came into contact with. 111, out of hours GP, NWAS ambulance staff, day and night staff - doctors and nurses in A&E & MAU. Her over-riding comment was that she had met some marvellous people and she wanted to let them know that she appreciated their care.
