"Thorough investigation and excellent care"

About: South West Acute Hospital / Emergency Care and Medicine Services South West Acute Hospital / Medical + surgical assessment unit (ward 1) South West Acute Hospital / Ward 3

(as a carer),

My aunt was very unwell and admitted to SWAH for investigation. She had just been discharged from another hospital where nothing had been done for her. As a family we were delighted to see the level of professionalism and care provided to her in SWAH allowing her to get a diagnosis and appropriate treatment enabling her to return home. She thought all of the staff were friendly and helpful during her stay in A& E, ward 1 and ward 3- many thanks to you all.

encourage people to share their experiences of health and social care, what matters to you, what you particularly liked or disliked so that we can share with the relevant department, and staff .

Please see response from Sister In Ward 1 SWAH

Thank you for taking the time to share your aunt's experience in SWAH.

We always strive to deliver excellent patient care experiences in ward one and we are fortunate to have such strong dedicated team of Allied health professionals to help us deliver this.

Thank-you again as it is always nice to receive such compliments. We hope your aunt is doing better.
