20260123_24_25 Care Opinion Annual Report - The Story So Far_FINAL.pdf
The Public Health Agency is pleased to share the Care Opinion Annual Report 2024–2025, highlighting another year of meaningful engagement between service users, carers, families and Health and Social Care (HSC) services across Northern Ireland.
This year saw 6,371 stories published—our highest to date—with 84% reflecting wholly positive experiences of care. The report showcases how feedback continues to shape learning, strengthen transparency, and drive real improvements across our Trusts. It also details progress in responder training, engagement with minority ethnic communities, regional priority campaigns, and early steps in applying AI to deepen learning from narratives.
From changes inspired by individual stories to emerging strategic insights, this year’s report demonstrates how Care Opinion is now firmly embedded within the culture of HSCNI—supporting a more person‑centred, open and responsive system.
We invite you to explore the full report and join us in celebrating the impact of people’s voices across our health and social care services.
