What’s it about?
Gathering feedback in rural and remote areas can be tricky, and lots of subscribers tell us it doesn’t always come naturally in smaller or close‑knit communities. In this session, we’ll chat openly about the realities - from small staffing pools and everyone‑knows‑everyone dynamics, story moderation and the practical challenges that can make encouraging Care Opinion in these areas a little harder - but not impossible!
We’ll also look at what makes rural services so unique, why hearing from these communities is essential, and how even one story can make a real difference. You’ll hear creative ideas that have worked elsewhere, what’s helping things improve for other organisations, and simple ways to encourage more Care Opinion stories in places that can be harder to reach.
Who is it for?
People working in rural or island communities
Teams supporting small or specialist services where voices can be harder to reach
Not just those living in rural/remote areas! Anyone in a small staff team (or the only one holding the fort!) will find practical tips here too!
Anyone keen to encourage more Care Opinion stories in any of these communities
