So, before she left, Natalie from Patient Opinion came to visit our Day Intervention Unit at the Victoria Hospital. She spent time speaking with patients and our staff and Natalie's enthusiasm for PO really rubbed off. We have started to use the direct ask flyer and the questions that we are using this month are "What was good about your experience?" and "What could we have done better?" This is really working and we have had a marked increase in the number of posts about our service. We will change the question at the begining of August and again we will ask our staff to give suggestions regarding the question we ask.
The staff are really coming on board with Patient Opinion and are grateful that people are taking the time to post about their service. Ashley, Callum and Natalie were extremely grateful to be awarded 3 gold stars by one of their patients and they display them with pride!
