Happy new year!
We’re excited to kick off 2018 by welcoming Kevin Clifford, recently retired chief nurse at NHS Sheffield CCG, to the board of Care Opinion.
We’re especially excited because Kevin has just been made an OBE in the new year’s honours list. So congratulations from the team here on your richly deserved honour!
Kevin brings to Care Opinion long and detailed experience of healthcare. He qualified in nursing in 1983, and has held a range of nursing and general management posts in the NHS over almost 40 years, including chief operating officer for Sheffield PCTs community services, and both clinical director of operations and nurse director (emergency care) at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Since retiring, Kevin has continued to share his knowledge and experience with others, including Sheffield’s Cavendish Cancer Care, Brigantia, a multi-academy trust, and BPP University.
Kevin is a long-time supporter of our work. We’re delighted to be able to welcome him as a non-executive director, and we look forward to working together to create new and innovative ways for people to make a difference to their local health and care services.
Happy new year – and a big welcome to Kevin Clifford
