In this research chat I spoke with Professor Scott Weich of the University of Sheffield, about the Euripides study of patient feedback in adult mental health care.
The Euripides study, funded by NIHR, looked at current practice around patient feedback, user and staff perceptions, and how far feedback was being used to support improvements in care.
In this conversation we focused specifically on the principles of good feedback practice which emerged from a stakeholder conference, and which I have blogged previously. This part of the study is reported in chapter 7 (pages 83-88 of the report).
Last year there was a discussion hosted by WeMentalHealthNurses about this report, embedded in a previous blog post titled User feedback in acute mental health care: why isn't it working?
