Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) launched Care Opinion in August 2020, they have nearly 600 stories on Care Opinion and over 270 staff members registered on Care Opinion to listen and respond to feedback.
Grace Hamilton (Operational lead for Care Opinion) Christine Armstong and Mairéad Casey (Patient and Client Experience Facilitators) have been instrumental in this roll out across SHSCT.
On 11th May 2021 they hosted a webinar and talked about what they have achieved so far, including:
- - How they worked in both a top down and bottom up way to increase buy in at senior management level and with individual services
- - How they train staff to be responders on the site
- - How they rolled out Care Opinion in their new virtual visiting service so they could hear quickly from both patients and their families about what was working and where improvements can be made.
