My story is a continuation of what I wrote earlier. Earlier this year, I underwent cataract surgery in my right eye. In my opinion, after this surgery I could see very well (previously I had almost no vision in my right eye). However, during a check-up at SpecSavers and a very detailed eye examination, my optician David stated that I would need a consultation with Dr. Wilson as I might need to undergo re-surgery on my right eye.
Just two days later (which was a huge surprise for me), I received a call from the hospital that I was to undergo another surgery in a few days. As usual, I was treated with due respect and care in the Cataract Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital. A very nice, patient and kind nurse, Danielle, took care of me. Dr. Wilson did a wonderful job. The other staff were also very kind and helpful to me.
I don't know how Dr. Wilson did it, but I can now see out of my right eye as well as my left eye. This was confirmed by a check-up of my eyesight in Ophthalmology Clinic at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, which I had a few days ago. Dr. Wilson said my eyesight is fine now. My gratitude knows no bounds. Only now I see how beautiful the world is. How clear and saturated the colors are, how far my eyesight can reach, how wonderful it is to see details that I had no idea about before. Despite my other ailments, I feel as if I had been born a second time. It is a completely new, different life.
Once again, thank you very much for everything.
