I would like to highlight the wonderful work by Denise who welcomes patients, relatives and staff to the oncology unit reception desk.

The nature of oncology is filled with deep worry and concern for loved ones who visit the unit, but Denise makes every visit so positive and welcoming. Her positivity, kindness, welcoming and bubbling nature help to lift some of those worries by just being herself.

Denise is so highly thought of by the patients, the patients she knows so incredibly well, with her work being just as important as cancer treatment which goes on behind the desk. 

She is one in a million.
