"My operation has been life changing - thank you"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as the patient),

I had a robot-assisted laparoscopic total hysterectomy in February of this year. It was performed by surgeon Dr Sokalova at Crosshouse Hospital Ayrshire.

I really just wanted to say a huge thank you to my GP who referred me for an ultrasound scan due to heavy bleeding, the sonographer who picked up an abnormality on the scan, and to Dr Sokalova who performed the operation.

I was in and out the same day for my operation and back to work 6 weeks later. Quite frankly I have never felt better and has been life changing for me.

I am very grateful for our NHS….thank you.
