About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Nuclear medicine (diagnostics)

(as a service user),

I attended nuclear medicine suite to have pre operative injection to magnetic seed for sentinel lymph  node detection . I was nervous and never had experience  of the department or the procedure. 

 I was greeted by a lovely member of staff, Anita, who was very reassuring and informative . The procedure only took seconds and was painless .  

I was able to walk back to surgical ward directly after procedure. 

I felt fine and was grateful of the reassuring approach from Anita throughout the whole experience.
