(as the patient),

I attended the Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) shoulder clinic at the Gatehouse in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

I saw Matt who after a full consultation diagnosed me with a frozen shoulder. He was respectful and empathetic to the point of suggesting alternative x-rays as he didn't think I would be able to move into the correct position. 

At x-ray the radiographer was so supportive and really gentle as I was in considerable pain. 

In the end I received treatment on the day with follow up physio which has allowed me to continue to attend work and improved my quality of life.

It's wonderful to know that Matt provided you with a thorough and empathetic consultation, taking the time to adjust his approach to make the process as comfortable as possible for you.

We’re also pleased that the radiography team showed such compassion and care during what must have been a challenging procedure given your level of pain. It’s incredibly encouraging to hear that the combined efforts of Matt, the radiographer, and your follow-up physiotherapy have helped to improve your quality of life, allowing you to continue your work and resume your daily activities.
