About: Cloughreagh House Enhanced Care / Acute Care at Home

When I was in hospital it was suggested to me that I come to Cloughreagh House.  I knew people that had been here before and I knew that they had enjoyed it so I agreed to come. 

I have been happy and content here, I have had excellent care which has brought me back my health and strength. The carers have all been so kind and caring. 

The garden is lovely here, when the weather was better I was able to sit out with my visitors in the garden and I really enjoyed that. 

A few days after I arrived in Cloughreagh  I became very sick and the Acute Care At Home team came to Cloughreagh and attended to me. That was a blessing and I really appreciate it as I didn't want to go back into hospital. That is an excellent service and they looked after me really well. 

I have enjoyed the activities which are organised in the Lounge in the afternoons, it gets people mixing together and gives opportunities to get to know others. I have met some lovely people here .

Overall I want to commend everyone in Cloughreagh and thank them for their attentiveness to me. Cloughreagh itself is a calm relaxing environment which helps recovery.  I would recommend Cloughreagh to others and i want to thank everyone for their kindness to me.

Thankyou for taking the time to tell us about your experience of Cloughreagh. It is always nice to hear that people recommend us and it does help when service users have prior knowledge of our service.

I was pleased that you have acknowledged the good work carried out by the Acute Care At Home team, they have worked with us here in Cloughreagh on numerous occasions providing an effective service.

We aim to organise activities which are fun, contribute to the wellbeing of our service users, provide opportunity for social interaction and reflect the personal interests of the group/ individual involved.
