"Fantastic maternity care"

About: Croydon University Hospital

I recently gave birth to my first child at Croydon University Hospital and had a very positive experience. Although I had to give birth in the maternity unit rather than the birth centre, which was my preferred option due to the team being short staffed, I still had a great experience. Throughout labour I was treated with consideration and respect, and staff made great efforts to try and fulfill my birth preferences and seek my consent throughout.

I also received my antenatal care from this hospital trust and had very positive experiences with the community midwives, obstetricians, sonographers, and non-clinical staff. I've been really impressed with the professionalism and kindness of everyone I've interacted with.

I really can't recommend this hospital enough as somewhere to receive antenatal, birth, and postnatal care, especially if you have any additional needs.
