Went into Grantham Hospital Ward 2 Surgical Unit yesterday for a procedure.
On arrival I was greeted and shown to the ward where I was introduced to the team that would be looking after me.
My morning Nurse was Josmi a young lady with a lovely smile and caring nature, my afternoon Nurse was Bindu also a caring nurse.
The Consultant Anaesthetist and Consultant Surgeon Mr Muoka visited me before the procedure to explain everything in detail. I had opted for General anaesthetic which all agreed was a good choice. I'm please to say the biopsy went well with hardly any post procedure bleeding or pain. I was given lunch when back on the ward and coffee & biscuits before being discharged.
The NHS come under a lot of criticism but I really couldn't be happier with the whole experience, all of the staff were wonderful. I would certainly recommend this hospital and team.
