"Eye Department Kings College Orpington"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

Mum is dementia patient. Previously we went to Sidcup and there were long waits and I was stressed. Mum is now in a care home, we arrange transport with G4S and I meet her there. The staff at Orpington Eye Department are amazing. I have stressed to them the shorter the time we are in there the better the outcome and they have taken this on board. They are great with mum and move her through the system quickly which means that she gets the injections in her eyes that are needed. It's not only that, the staff treat her like she is a person rather than a number, they remember her and take the time to come and chat to her. It really does make life easier. Mum's eyesight is important, and these ladies are important to me to keep mum's eyesight. Thank you lovely ladies xx
