"A minor heart attack"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Cardiology Northern General Hospital / Cardiothoracic surgery

(as the patient),

Was assessed in the new A&E which was not as busy as I was expecting.

Moved through the various stages being kept well informed.

Once a heart attack was confirmed with in a few hours I was admitted onto the Manvers ward.

I was well looked after on the ward with good level of facilities and hygiene.

After a week I was sent to the Northern General for an angioplasty procedure.

I was kept in the Northern General for five days. The staff on Manvers arranged to send my medication and belongings across by taxi.
