"I have felt so much better since my treatments"

About: Community Therapy Services / Bassetlaw Community Therapy

(as a service user),

About me - I am a retired nurse, widow and live alone suffering with dizziness, imbalance and unsteadiness walking.

Advised by my GP to have Physiotherapy.

My Story - My first appointment with Ann-Marie the community Physiotherapist was at Retford Hospital. First impression lovely smile and immaculate uniform.

We discussed my history, if I needed walking aids etc, the exercises I would need to do.

She arranged a pendant alarm and key safe for me. She informed me that all further visits would be at my own home.

No change of appearance or smile on all visits, all exercises checked and my general condition, safety of the bungalow re mats etc.

She advised I join a fitness class and offered to go with me on my first visit.

I have felt so much better since my treatments I am walking and my imbalance is so much better. I walk into town and am not afraid of the pavements and curbs.

I was so sorry to say goodbye to Ann-Marie, I felt I lost a friend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this kind feedback for Ann-Marie. We have passed this on to her. It is great to hear you are feeling much better and more confident.

Take care.
