"Friendly but professional"

About: Outpatients Centre / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

I broke my wrist in March 2024, the plaster was removed 5 weeks later (see previous report) and I was referred to Physiotherapy at Stirling Community Hospital.

After 2 initial sessions the physiotherapist I had seen moved hospital and I was transferred to Zaine (spelling?) - I cannot praise him highly enough!
He was very patient, explaining the medical aspects of the healing process and answering all questions at the right level for me to understand. He was friendly but professional, very gentle but thorough in taking measurements, providing massage and manipulation at sessions plus explaining what exercises I needed to do at home.

I have now been discharged with 80-90% recovery of movement and strength with managed expectations of up to a year overall for full recovery.

He is a credit to his profession and the department
