My husband had an unfortunate accident with a circular saw where he almost cut his right little finger off
We attended UHD ED and received an excellent service from the triage sister, Consultants and everyone involved in the immediate care of patching his finger up before attending the Plastics trauma clinic the next day.
The service that we received there was amazing he was seen and assessed and advised that he would need to have reconstructive surgery for the bone tendon and nerve this was fine that afternoon, what an amazing service.
We then attended the hand therapy clinic where he received further excellent care from both the physio and Consultant OT hand therapist and team.
We can not express enough the excellent care in our journey since this traumatic incident
Thank you to all involved in the Ulster Hospital we could not have received better care from all
