"I have found the programme excellent"

I have just completed my eighteen 'zoom' sessions that cover the Diabetes Prevention Programme NI.

I have found the programme excellent; it is well-structured, highly informative and the fact it spans nine months has provided me with superb support in my diabetes journey, at just the right pace for everyone involved.

Carol, our facilitator, has made the programme a privilege to partake in. She didn't just 'deliver' the content but has shown empathy, humour, warmth, patience and genuine concern for us as individuals in the group. She fostered great trust in our group in her and each other, even though we were meeting through screens as complete strangers, and, as they say here, ' the craic was great '! We need more 'Carols' and programmes like this;

I feel well-informed and equipped to continue my journey against diabetes and am delighted that this service has been available to me.
