"Caring and empathetic midwives"

(as a service user),

Every encounter I had with a midwife or specialist during my pregnancy and post partum journey with the Exeter team has been nothing but positive. They’ve all been incredibly kind, empathetic and made me feel really looked after.

Amelia was my assigned midwife who throughout my pregnancy validated my feelings and always made me feel listened to, she was amazing towards me and my anxiety.

I struggled with gestational diabetes and Emma was such a kind and nurturing specialist midwife towards me. She really showed that she cared about me and my journey and also made me feel heard and understood during those really low moments. I am so grateful for the way Emma treated me and I think her kindness will have helped so many others like me in that situation.

All of the team were very kind and as a first time mum I felt under very safe hands. Thank you to everyone involved in mine and my son’s journey.
