Last year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer .Following the confirmation I was told due to my age the best treatment would be radiotherapy. I was asked to go on the PACE-NODES method, which involves having 5 sessions of intense radiotherapy than the usual 20.This took place at the Oncology department at Lincoln County Hospital. Previous to this happening I had had a bone scan at Lincoln, a biopsy at Boston, an gold markers implants in my prostate at Louth.
The treatment and care I have received at all ULHT hospitals has been first class. The communication, either by letter or verbally has also been first class.
I am undergoing some follow up investigations due to a few problems arising from the treatment, which are also being conducted by the staff at Grantham hospital with the standard of care and professionalism .I cannot thank all the hospital staff at all ULHT hospitals enough for
Thank you all.
