"Couldn't have wished for better care"

Attended Lincoln County Hospital for a major robot assisted operation recently. Was asked to arrive at 7am, sat in a cold waiting room for 4 hours before seeing the Consultant and Anaesthetist. The Consultant wasn't who I expected to see but was very good & thorough. The Anaesthetist wanted to send me home for 6 weeks due to a recent chest infection  but my worry was the cancer could spread in this time. Had the operation around lunch time then went to a high dependency ward. Following the bad experience in the waiting room all the staff that looked after me were absolutely brilliant, couldn't have wished for better care.
