"Breast cancer care"

On the same day that I found a breast lump in July 2024, I was referred to the Breast Clinic at Lincolnshire County Hospital. I was seen within 2 weeks and was diagnosed with early stage cancer 3 weeks later.  My first operation was later the same week, and a further small procedure took place four weeks later.  10 days later I was given the news that I am cancer free. I received excellent care from all staff from my first appointment, efficient and kind which is my ideal.  After three months to recover I am about to start radiotherapy treatment to increase my chance of staying cancer free.  Oncology staff are also excellent. I could not have received better care.
