The nursing staff couldn’t have done more in terms of care and reassurance, however the doctor who was performing the procedure didn’t do anything at all to help to reassure an anxious patient.
I felt like I was just a number and that it was a case of performing the procedure as quickly as possible.
I came away from the appointment feeling even more anxious about having to rebook and go through the procedure for a second time…so that I would request to have a different doctor overseeing my care at my next appointment.
