"Forever grateful for you not giving up on me"

About: Community Services / North Lincs Primary Care Network

(as a service user),

I have been having 1 to 1 sessions for the last 3 months with Nikki because I didn't do so good with the group sessions.

I honestly believed I couldn't be helped, I  didn't really understand anything about feelings and emotions so found it very difficult . I said on many occasions that I couldn't be helped but Nikki kept reassuring me that I could. She was so calm and understanding and funny too (but not as funny as me 🤣) that things started to make sense to me and I now understand myself much more and I'm able to regulate my emotions much better. It's a work in progress, I still really don't like people or being around people or social situations and I'm absolutely fine with that I just feel much calmer about it. My journey's not over, onto trauma therapy now, can't wait!

I will be forever grateful for your help and not giving up on me even when I wanted to,  so thank you Nikki, you have helped improve my mental health . I have seen many people over the years for therapy but they never really helped me.

You are amazing mental health need more people like you.
