"Pediatric opthalmology/ orthoptics"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Ophthalmology Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

The children's waiting area drastically needs improvement. Children are often waiting there for at least an hour and there is very little for them to look at/ do. There is a very old TV which is never on, small amount of books and small amount of very used colouring with minimal pencils. Very boring walls compared to the ENT children's waiting area which is excellent.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about your experience in the Ophthalmology children’s waiting area. We understand how important it is to have a welcoming and engaging space for children, especially during longer waits. Your comments have been shared with the relevant team, and we will be reviewing how the area can be improved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
