I went into AMH to be induced on my due date due to severe PGP, was on the ward 2 hours and then moved to labor ward, I had a student midwife called Eilidh, who was amazing and also the same midwife called Sheena, that I had 2. 5 years ago when I had my son. So I felt at ease and in safe hands. I was put on the drip at 1130 pm, had very strong contractions from the start. The ladies kept me sane (and my hubby) I was able to move around the room and do my own thing. Every step was explained to me. I had my son at 3.01am, I had to go to theatre after this and it scared me because if my experience last time. However the anaethetist out me at ease and both Sheena, Eilidh, hubby and baby came with me, so I could see and watch what they were doing at all times. I felt in safe hands all the time. Anything I didn't understand was explained to me.
The care that I received was amazing, and I feel so lucky that I had the same midwife deliver both my sons.
