About: University Hospital Monklands / Cardiology/Coronary Care Unit (Ward 18)

(as a service user),

I was a patient on ward 18 for 4 weeks. During my time there the standard of care from all staff was excellent. They were very good at keeping you informed about treatment and any unforeseen changes. 

While the ward was very busy they all managed to treat you as an individual showing kindness and concern.Everyone made time to have a chat which made my stay much more pleasant 

The standard of cleanliness on the ward was excellent and it was very obvious that they all worked as a great team

I'm sorry to hear that you had reason to be an inpatient with ourselves at University Hospital Monklands but am pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience in ward 18. We're proud of the work that our staff do each and every day but it's always nice to hear such positive external feedback. I'll share this feedback with the Senior Charge Nurse for the area and will ask her to share it with the full team.

I was very happy to praise the staff in ward 18 as my experience had been a good one and I know how often people are quick to criticise but very slow to praise
