On Thursday 7th May 2026 we hosted our first subscriber chat-Embedding Care Opinion organisation wide. It was a well attended session-with lots of interaction from our audience and participants. Thank you so much to everyone who managed to join us for this lively and and incredibly informative chat. We were especially grateful to our 3 special guests and speakers for sharing their processes with enthusiasm and a real honesty about the success of their roll outs. The talks inspired some great questions from the audience and a great chat followed-watch the whole chat below.
First up was Kate Wood, Community Engagement Manager from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. Kate talked us through their incremental roll out (service by service) to 140 services over a 2 year period and shared their neat process which included the creation of bespoke materials co-designed with services, invitation links for every service and CQC tagging from the very beginning to support the Trust's reporting needs. Watch the video recording from 9mins 42 seconds to learn more from Kate.
Second, we heard from Natasha Collinson, Patient Safety, Carer and Community Practitioner at Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. Tasha spoke with enthusiasm about how they went 'full blast' with their Care Opinion roll out. Their roll out began in June 2024 with a couple of pilot services, and by September it was decided that all services across the trust would have CO implemented at the same time-replacing their current feedback method. Watch the video from 19mins 40 seconds to learn more about how they set up 179 services and got their comms team on board to support with the exceptionally successful roll out. of Care Opinion.
Teams love being in the spotlight on social media
Last, but by certainly no means least we heard from Jo Goodwin Worton from the Patient Experience Team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. Jo talked clearly about the huge geographical area that MPFT covers and the large variety of services offered by the Trust inclusive, but not exhaustive, of Mental Health services, Learning Disability service, Social Care Services and Forensic teams. Watch the video from 29mins 20 seconds to learn from Jo about how the trust chose a structured approach to incrementally roll out Care Opinion.
Both me and Liz Basset felt honoured and proud to host our first subscriber chat-we left feeling encouraged and motivated, and excited to share this really great session. We hope you enjoy as much as we did.
