On many pages you will find the Immersive Reader button.
Select this button to get help with reading the page.
How can the Immersive Reader help?
When you select the button, the page changes.
- It becomes simpler so you can focus on the text.
- There is a Play button below the text. Select this if you want the text read aloud.
- Open the Play options to make the words faster or slower.
- Use the icons at top-right to try different text, grammar and reading choices.
How can I get other pages read out loud?
The immersive read button is not on every page. If you want to have pages read where no button is available, you can use the features available in your browser.
In Chrome or Edge
1. Open the page menu (three dots)
2. In Chrome, select More tools > Reading mode
3. A simplified page will open. Select the play button to have it read to you.
